Business and Operations

Kelley oversees the day-to-day financial functions of the Company; generates internal and external financial statements and controls; manages the general ledger, cash management, collections, and budgets; ensures regulatory compliance; performs inventory and asset management; oversees employee benefits, human resources, 401k and ESOP programs; and serves on the Company’s board of directors. 
 
Kelley started with Cooper Engineering in 2014 with nine years of experience in public accounting and sixteen years of financial knowledge in banking.  More specifically, Kelley has extensive experience in financial reporting, taxation, internal and external auditing, regulatory compliance and research, management, and training others.

Kelley is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), registered in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and earned her Bachelors of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.  She presently serves as the treasurer on the boards of the Veteran’s Memorial Committee of Rice Lake and the Rice Lake All Sports Booster Club and is on the board of the United Presbyterian Church with duties on multiple committees.  Kelley has previously served the Rice Lake Junior Achievement as the treasurer, the Rice Lake Chamber of Commerce, and the Leadership Barron County boards.

In her free time, Kelley enjoys running, cross country skiing, and most outdoor activities.  Kelley is married and has two children.  She thoroughly enjoys watching her children in all of their activities…and lives vicariously through them!  She enjoys the “friendly” competition of 10K’s and half-marathons.
