For the better part of three decades, Brad has had the pleasure of working with many airports in Cooper’s service area. Brad is well-versed in airport planning and design of airspace requirements, pavement design, new runways and taxiways, runway and taxiway extensions, airport drainage, aircraft parking ramps, airfield lighting, navigational aid siting, numerous airspace analyses, land acquisition projects, terminal/hangar/SRE building projects, and fueling system upgrades. Brad enjoys helping his clients navigate various requirements associated with state and federal airport improvement grants and oversees many projects through construction.
Brad also assists on site design, industrial design, and road/street design projects. His knowledge of survey, right of way acquisition, permitting, and project management allow him to manage a portion of the staff at Cooper Engineering and provide quality leadership.
Brad is a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and is very active in the local EAA chapter. He enjoys flying, maintaining his airplane, and searching for the perfect sunset for his wife Janis to photograph. Brad enjoys hunting and winter camping each year with friends. Brad has served many years both on the local Boys and Girls Club board and on the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers NW Chapter leadership team. Brad earned his Civil Engineering degree from Iowa State University.
