Laboratory and Field Material Testing
Our staff is trained and experienced in sampling and material testing for construction soils and aggregate, asphaltic pavements, concrete mixtures, concrete strength cylinders, and compaction testing. We are WisDOT qualified and in 2001 we added a gyrocompactor to enable us to test superpave asphalt mixtures.

Construction Contract Administration
We provide assistance with the setting up of the contract documents, guidance through the contractor selection, and preparation of contract forms. During construction, we monitor contractor progress, review pay requests, assist with contract change orders, attend meetings to provide updates on construction progress, and prepare necessary documentation for project close out.

Construction Field Administration
During construction, we provide field staff to monitor the construction work. We typically provide full time staff during key phases including underground utility installation, paving, and concrete placement. Our field staff uses their experience to help keep the construction on track and as designed. With our staff on the project, the owner can be assured their best interests are being protected.

Construction Surveying and Staking
Cooper Engineering has fully trained and equipped survey crews. We provide them with the latest and most productive equipment available. This allows our crews to accurately and efficiently provide the staking necessary for the contractors to complete the work as planned. Our crews have team leaders that average close to 20 years experience each. With their experience, our crews are able to recognize issues before they become a detriment to the projects.
